This site is dedicated to promoting the practice of the Zentangle® Method of mindful and focused pattern drawing. My mission is to provide inspiration, encouragement, and resources as you travel your Zentangle journey and nurture your tangler’s mind. You will find tutorials, pattern step-outs, examples, exercises, and more.
My Zentangle journey began in January 2013 when my sister introduced me to the Zentangle Method. It came to me at a time when I needed a creative spark. Like so many others, I became hooked, and in June 2014, I became a Certified Zentangle Teacher (CZT). My Zentangle journey has continued to be amazing, and I hope I can inspire you in yours.
The Zentangle® Method
Created by Rick Roberts and Maria Thomas, the Zentangle Method is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns called tangles. The process of drawing tangles provides a way to calm your busy mind, focus your attention, and tap into your creativity. The finished drawings are beautiful by-products of immersing your mind in this process. People of all ages and skill levels practice the Zentangle Method; no special talent is needed. It is an artistic outlet that is simple, inexpensive, and portable.
